Concept site designed and built by CIO Solutions. Plans, prices and results are illustrative.

Take your personal details off the internet.

Your home address, phone number and date of birth are probably on people-search sites and in data brokers’ files. We find them, have them removed under UK GDPR, and check every month that they stay gone.

  • Erasure requests sent and chased for you
  • Breach alerts for your email addresses
  • Re-checked every month

Your details are easier to find than you think.

  • Anyone

can buy a copy of the open electoral register.

Unless you've opted out, your name and address are on it. Opting out doesn't affect your right to vote.

  • 1 month

for an organisation to act on your erasure request.

UK GDPR gives you the right to have your personal data erased. They can take up to two months more if they tell you why.

  • £34

to remove your home address from one Companies House document.

If you ever used your home address on a filing, it can still be public, document by document.

Find. Remove. Keep watch.

Scroll to see what happened to the details of Jordan Ellis, a made-up person, in their first 90 days with us.

In the example, Jordan’s details were found in 47 places. After 90 days, 44 had removed them and 3 requests were still in progress.

  1. 01

    Find

We search people-search sites, data brokers, marketing lists, search results and breach data for your names, addresses, phone numbers and emails.

  2. 02

    Remove

Each one gets an erasure request under UK GDPR, or goes through the site's own opt-out. We chase until it's done. You sign one authority; we do the rest.

  3. 03

    Keep watch

Data brokers buy fresh data and re-list people. We re-check every month, send new requests when you reappear, and alert you to new breaches.

Everywhere your details turn up.

Removal isn’t one form. It’s dozens of sites, each with its own rules, and most of them hoping you won’t ask twice.

  • 01

    People-search sites

Listings that show your address, age, phone number and relatives to anyone who types in your name.

  • 02

    Data brokers

Companies that build profiles from public records and purchases, then sell them on for marketing and tracing.

  • 03

    Marketing lists

We ask list owners to delete you and register you with the Telephone and Mailing Preference Services, so the calls and post slow down.

  • 04

    The open register

We show you how to opt out of the open electoral register so it can't be sold. Your right to vote isn't affected.

  • 05

    Search results

We ask Google and Bing to remove results that show your home address or phone number.

  • 06

    Breached passwords

We watch your email addresses for new breaches and tell you exactly which passwords to change.

  • 07

    Forgotten accounts

We help you find and close old accounts, and ask each company to delete what it holds about you.

  • 08

    Companies House

For directors: we find the filings that show your home address and prepare the application to remove it.

Has your password been in a breach?

Check a password against the hundreds of millions exposed in known data breaches. It never leaves this page.

  1. 01

    Hashed here

Your browser turns the password into a SHA-1 hash: a fingerprint that can’t be turned back.

  2. 02

    Five characters sent

Only the first five characters of the hash go to Pwned Passwords. Hundreds of other hashes start the same way.

  3. 03

    Matched on your device

The service sends back every hash with that start, and your browser looks for yours among them.

Uses the free Pwned Passwords service from Have I Been Pwned. Nothing is stored or logged by this site.

Directors: is your home address on Companies House?

If you’ve ever used your home address as a company’s registered office or your correspondence address, it can still be on filings anyone can download. Companies House will remove it from each document for £34.

  • We find every filing that shows your home address and prepare the SR01 application.
  • Is the company still active? Its registered office has to move away from your home first.
  • On documents filed before 10 October 2015, the day of your date of birth can be removed too.

Checked against GOV.UK, October 2026.

Questions people ask first.

Anything else? A real service would have a person to talk to here. This one is a concept by CIO Solutions.

Is this legal?

Yes. Under UK GDPR you have the right to ask organisations to erase your personal data. With your signed authority, we make those requests for you as your agent, and keep a record of every one.

How long does removal take?

An organisation has one calendar month to respond to an erasure request, and can take up to two more months if it tells you why. Many people-search sites act within days; others need chasing, which we do.

Can you take me off the electoral register?

Nobody can remove you from the full register, which is used for elections and credit checks. You can opt out of the open register, the version that's sold, at any time without affecting your right to vote. We walk you through it.

Will my details come back?

Often, yes. Data brokers buy fresh data and re-list people. That's why we re-check every month and send a new request whenever you reappear.

Can you delete news articles or social media posts?

We can ask search engines to stop showing results that expose your contact details. The article or post itself stays with the publisher or platform, and we'll explain your options for asking them directly.

What do you need from me?

Your names, including previous ones, your addresses from the last ten years, your phone numbers and email addresses, and a signed authority so sites accept requests from us. We use them only to find and remove you.

Do you sell or share my data?

No. We use your details to find and remove you, and for nothing else. You can download or delete everything we hold from your dashboard at any time.
